Cancellation/ No-show policy – 100% refund of amount paid for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. 50% refund of amount paid for cancellations made 7-13 days before check-in. No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, or do not show up.
Payments – Payments are made via Stripe or Paypal. 50% of the reservation amount is required at booking and the remainder due before check-in.
Check-In window – 4:00-7:00pm. Requests for other arrangements need to be made in advance and are subject to availability depending on previous guests’ departure times and cleaning.
Check-Out – by noon.
Smoking/ Vaping/ Tobacco Use – No smoking or vaping is allowed in the house. Guests are responsible for damage caused by smoking in the house and will be charged $300 for the additional cleaning and decontamination.
Parties and Visitors – No parties or events. No drunken parties or illegal drug use. If you are booking for guests outside the immediate family, provide their names when booking so we know they are allowed on the property. Quiet hour is 9:00pm for the sake of neighbors and due to the municipalities regulations.
Pet Policy– Responsible pet owners may bring well-behaved pets and need to notify the host when booking. Pet owners must be responsible for their pets at all times. The pet covers for the sofas must be used when pets are staying. The backyard is fenced in, but pet owners need to verify their pets cannot escape under the fences or by other means.
Children and safety – Parents and caregivers are responsible for the children they bring. The house is split-level. Safety gates are available in the front closet, but there are stairs!
Damage and incidentals – You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you and/or your family/group during your stay. This included additional cleaning and decontamination fees for violation of the no smoking/vaping policy.
Amenities – We check appliances (TV, microwave, stove, washer, dryer, etc.) regularly, but in the rare event of a mechanical breakdown, please notify us immediately so we can arrange repairs, but no refunds will be given for these unanticipated circumstances.
Acts of God/ Power failure – In the event of acts of God beyond our control such as utility failure, please notify us immediately and we will call necessary companies for repair service, but no refunds will be given for these unanticipated circumstances.
Guests agree to hold the host harmless of personal injury, loss, or damage to guests. personal property for any reason during stay.
Guests agree they have read, understand and are responsible for all above policies by placing an online or phone reservation.
Failure by guests to abide by Terms and Conditions and House Rules will result in Guests being asked to leave the premises without a refund and additional charges may be incurred.
